We offer six beautiful individually style bedrooms in the pub, a self-contained cottage and studio room right next door.
Within just 15 minutes you can be exploring the historic market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, wandering the picture-perfect Bourton-on-the-Water, or discovering the timeless beauty of Winchcombe.
Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park is also just a couple of miles away, making us a wonderful choice for families looking for a fun day out. And for those visiting the races or enjoying the buzz of the Festival, Cheltenham Racecourse is only 25 minutes away, making our bedrooms the ideal base for both relaxation and adventure.

SIX INDIVISUALLY DESIGNED ROOMS Each of our bedrooms has been individually styled by renowned interior designer Susie Watson, blending timeless Cotswold character with elegant comfort. Thoughtfully designed to feel like a home away from home, every room includes a delicious breakfast and is priced the same all year round, with no increase during Christmas, Cheltenham races or at any other time of year. All rooms are en-suite and feature indulgent touches such as Egyptian cotton bedding, espresso machines, Tea Pigs teas, Smart TVs, and free Wi-Fi. We’re proud to be dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends are welcome too, and for families or groups an extra guest can be added to Cheltenham and Aintree for just £25 per person, per night. Reservations
In order to confirm your reservation, we would require full payment for the whole stay, we will then send you, usually by email, a confirmation of your booking. Please do read the confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if there are any queries as we cannot change the room rate or terms of your stay once a booking has been confirmed.
Cancellation of a Booking
Any cancellation or amendment should be confirmed by email to [email protected]
For all stays where a booking is cancelled more than 7 days before the day of arrival, the amount paid will be refunded in full. For bookings cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date, the reservation will be charged in full. We will, of course, provide a refund for any nights we manage to subsequently re-sell.
On the rare occasion we need to cancel or cut short a reservation due to circumstances outside our control, we will do our best to find alternative accommodation if required, however The Hollow Bottom will not be responsible for any additional charges.
VAT
VAT is included in all our prices at the current rate. If the rate of VAT increases after you have made your reservation, we will notify you of any change in the room rate prior to arrival.
Car Parking
All of our parking is on the roadside and we cannot accept any liability for theft or damage to vehicles however incurred.
Pets
Pets are very welcome subject to a surcharge of £20 per pet up to two pets.
Restaurant
If you would like to dine with us, please do make a reservation in advance, regretfully we cannot keep tables back for hotel residents and although we will try our best, we cannot guarantee a table can be made available.
If you wish to cancel a dinner reservation, please provide us as much notice as possible as we only have a small number of tables available.
We do require credit card details for bookings on all bookings. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, will result in a £25 cancellation charge for each person cancelled. In case of a No Show, we reserve the right to charge £50 for each person.
Vouchers
Vouchers are available for purchase via email at [email protected] and are valid for six months from date of purchase (unless otherwise stated) for the value purchased. No cash refunds can be given if the spend is less than the value of the voucher.
Food and Drink
With the exception of baby and specialist foods by prior arrangement, only food and drink that is purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises.
Arrival and Departure
Your room will be ready from 3pm on the day of arrival. Should you arrive early you are more than welcome to use the pub’s facilities and we will do our best to get your room ready as soon as possible. On your day of departure please feel free to use your room until 11am and you are very welcome to use the pub’s facilities for the rest of the day.
Smoking
The pub is a no-smoking building.
Damage to Property
Any damage caused by any individual using the facilities of the pub will be charged to that individual in full.
Children
All child reservations are on the same terms and conditions as adult reservations.
