What is The Hollow Bottom?
The Hollow Bottom is a much-loved Cotswolds freehouse offering great food, local drinks, community vibes, and stunning accommodation in the charming village of Guiting Power.
Where are you located?
We’re in Guiting Power, near Cheltenham in the Cotswolds, easily reached by road. Nearby train stations include Moreton-in-Marsh and Kingham
Do you have on-site parking?
Roadside parking is available. Please note we cannot accept liability for vehicle damage or theft.
Are you still a racing pub?
Yes, the horse racing community is a huge part of our pub. The pub can get extremely busy during and after race meetings at nearby Cheltenham Racecourse.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we love well-behaved dogs in the all areas of the pub.
What types of food do you serve?
We serve locally-sourced seasonal dishes celebrating Cotswold produce, with daily specials and classic pub meals.

Do you have daily or weekly food & drink offers?
Yes! We run offers such as Happy Hour (every day), Nap of the Day (£16 weekday lunch/dinner special) and Themed nights like Grill Night, Curry Night, Wine Wednesday, and Burger Club.
Do you offer local beers and spirits?
Absolutely! We stock local lagers, ciders, ales, and even a bespoke house gin produced with a local distillery.
Do I need to book a table?
We highly recommend booking especially for popular events and themed nights to avoid disappointment.

Do you offer accommodation?
Yes, we have six beautifully styled en-suite bedrooms in the pub, plus a self-contained cottage next door.
Is breakfast included with rooms?
Yes, breakfast is included with room bookings
Are pets allowed in the bedrooms?
Yes, we are dog-friendly (a small surcharge applies)

When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3 pm. Check-out is by 11 am, but you’re welcome to use pub facilities after check-out
